PRESSURE WASH, STAIN, SEAL, EXTERIOR PAINTING, GUTTER CLEANING
HOUSE WASH: Here in Middle Tennessee, mold, mildew and algae seem to take over the north side of homes, especially prominent on vinyl, but can also be seen on brick. A low pressure chemical solution is used that helps kill the mold, mildew and algae, giving your home a cleaner look for longer. The low pressure is safe for vinyl, and our equipment can reach to the highest peaks, chimneys, and dormer windows. This will not remove oxidation found on the outside of the home (mainly seen on the outside of gutters as a grayish color or tiger stripes). Please see our gutter whitening service for more information on removing oxidation off gutters. It is recommended to have your house washed every 2 - 4 years. We also offer a one-sided house wash.
GUTTER CLEANING: Removal of leaf and debris from inside the gutters; downspouts are checked to make sure they are unclogged. A variety of methods are used to clean out the gutters depending on the house and the weather conditions. If gutter guards or screens have to be removed in order to clean out debris underneath, they will not be replaced. If screens are secured to the gutters, we will do our best to blow out any debris underneath, however our pricing does not include uninstalling, reinstalling, or replacing any form of gutter guards or screens.
GUTTER WHITENING: The outsides of gutters will be scrubbed with a special gutter chemical to remove the oxidation and grey tiger stripes. This service MUST be done when temperatures are consistently above 70 degrees - the warmer the better, so the ideal time is to have this done in the summer. This is an independent service and does not need to be done at the same time as a house wash (unless requested). Generally, the results will last for approximately 2 - 5 years, however, if you do not keep your gutter debris cleaned out each season, the oxidation is more likely to come back quicker.
PRESSURE WASH, FILL AND SEAL AGGREGATE: The first step in this process is to pressure wash the aggregate. You can drive over the driveway that night to pull into your garage, but it is not recommended that you park on the driveway in case your vehicle leaks fluid. About 1 - 2 days after, we will come back to put on a commercial grade sealant. It is recommended to stay completely off the driveway for 24-48 hours. Sealing aggregate can be done when the overnight temperatures are at least 50 degrees and the forecast calls for a very small to no chance of rain.
If your driveway has cracks that need to be filled, we use a river sand crack filler. This would be applied (for an additional charge) after pressure washing, and we recommend using a slightly tinted sealant to help blend in the color of the crack filler.
If your driveway is on a steep slope, we offer a slip resistant additive (for an additional charge) to be mixed with the sealer prior to the application of the sloped driveway. This is NOT the "wet look" type sealant you may see on some drives (from Lowes or Home Depot), which would not be safe on a slope.
PRESSURE WASH AND STAIN DECKS AND FENCES: A low pressure chemical solution is used to help clean and kill the mold, mildew and algae that grows, especially on the surface of decks. This is safe to use on a stained deck if you're looking to simply have it cleaned. For decks that need to be stained, we will provide the customer a pamphlet from PPG / Porter Paint, which is the company we prefer to use based on the quality of their products. The customer can choose the color, although we will recommend if you should pick a transparent, semi-transparent, semi-opaque, or solid stain based on the current condition of your deck or fence. Lattice work and pergolas are an additional charge.
ROOF WASH: No pressure application. No rinsing recommended; rinsing available on request for additional charge.
